The End

So yeah, this blog is done.  It's ok though, I'm continuing my work in a slightly different context at my new blog, replaylist.wordpress.com.  I would say that I'm gonna make a mixtape for all the stuff I haven't posted in the last month or so, but we both know I'm not gonna do it.  See ya over at replaylist.

Listen To This: 9/13

I don't know if anyone had noticed, but last week I decided to put the blog on hiatus for a while I work on my new blogging project.  I tried to stay away, I really did, but so much good music just kept on building up and building up, and last weekend's combination of Kanye West's newest G.O.O.D Friday release and his ridiculously incredible VMA performance just pushed me over the top.  I'm not sure what's gonna happen in terms of this blog, but for now I'm just gonna enjoy all this great music.  I don't know how long it'll be until I blog again, so if you're one of my 10 readers you should head over to Pigeons and Planes or Pretty Much Amazing to keep yourself on top of things(and even if you don't care that much about staying up to date on music, please please read this).

Listen To This: Cameras

Still have a bunch of stuff which I will post soon (maybe), but for now you need to check out Matt and Kim's latest jam. They stick to their standard simple style based around slick melodies and ridiculously catchy riffs, and as usual create a song that is just plain fun to listen to. This one is going in my daily repeat list alongside Monster and Fuck You.  Enjoy, and hopefully I'll be able to get back to blogging regularly soon.

Interesting music day for sure.  I have two mixtapes: Big Sean's Finally Famous vol. 3, which has been waiting to drop for what seems like forever. and newcomers SomeWhere Elses debut mixtape, Master Basement. They're both real nice.  There's also a Kanye West remix of Justin Bieber?  I just pretend that Bieber is like some random girl that he picked to sing the hook.  I also added some new XV, a Drake reference track which is actually pretty good, and a nasty Nas cover of Slick Rick's Hey Young World.

Listen To This: So Much Better/Sleepy Kids

Here's yet another of me having a sweet mixtape for a few weeks and forgetting to post about it.  Here are my favorite two tracks from Moxie Black's debut mixtape, How Did This Happen.  Moxie continues that electro-pop-rock-rap vibe that seems to have become the norm for new artists, but manages to sound original at the same time. Enjoy these tracks, and check out the mixtape. Also, I'm trying out a new download solution which will hopefully make everything a lot smoother. Just right click on the player and choose "download document".

PJ's Playpen: Broomdock Saints

Sup. Bitches. This is PJ here with another playpen special. Radical Thought is a two person mixing group starring myself and Sam Abrahms. Get used to the name. Recently we compiled all of our songs to date into a mixtape called THE BROOMDOCK SAINTS. The reason the tape is called that is because it incorporates one of Sam’s nicknames, Brooms, into the title. Cheeky, huh? Well anyways this new mixtape has some really good mixes and it has some absolute shit mixes. Like really. Not gonna lie, I have no idea what we were on when we did some of these. They are that bad. Otherwise there are some good listening tunes. Might I suggest Break Ya Board, Air Time, Rollin’ Remix, and Fireflies Off Your Shoulder. Also, Lupe Jerk and When was the last time you jerked? get you in the jerking mood. I hope you like it, and there will be a new single coming out that should get some attention, it’s quite delicious. So have a listen, download that shit, tell everyone, and think radically my friends. Peace out, fuckers.
